Description

Eminox designs and manufactures exhaust aftertreatment systems, reducing emissions from heavy-duty vehicles and equipment. Our products are supplied as original equipment to meet the latest emissions standards. We also produce complete emissions systems for retrofit to meet the ever-changing demands of local air quality programmes such as London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone and Clean Air Zones across the country. Eminox also supply replacement products to the UK and European independent Aftermarket.

The Environmental Market Analysist will support the marketing department to make essential business decisions based on data, insight and outcomes. The role includes data management, data analysis and reporting upcoming and on-going opportunities for emissions reduction technology business development, globally.

Understanding and adherence to the following:

  • H&S policy and procedures (made available through Induction/X Drive/H&S Department)
  • Eminox business quality standard (IATF 16949 & ISO 9001) (Induction/Manager/Quality department)
  • Eminox Business Excellence Model (Oliver Wight Class A Standard ) (Induction/Manager/Quality department)
  • All group and Eminox policies and procedures (Available through Induction/SharePoint/HR Department)

  • Understand risk management in the context of IATF as applies to this role

Key skills (your job requires):

  • Marketing: Knowledge of the key fundamentals of marketing and the main analytical techniques for internal and external research.  Creative thinker and commercially minded
  • Professional communication: Ability to communicate and present information concisely with good public speaking skills and the confidence to share ideas with multiple teams and industry contacts 
  • Analytical and reporting:  Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to understand complex information and assess requirements and with experience in using analytics programmes. 
  • Report creation and editing: Ability to create reports on the Microsoft Office software application including dashboards, graphs and visualisation of data.
  • Project management: being responsive with a good ability to organise and prioritise tasks. Experience in working with time-sensitive projects and to tight deadlines

Key responsibilities

  • Collate and develop briefing documents by questioning internal customers on their research project needs
  • Plan, coordinate and complete market research with full evaluation and analysis for multiple projects
  • Consolidate, interpret and analyse data from various sources. 
  • Validate the data to ensure accuracy and create actionable items, reports, and presentations
  • Analyse competitors, customers, and industries to identify networking opportunities and complete trend analysis and, first stage lobbying activities 
  • Collect data on marketplace to include monitoring up-coming emission legislation developments, globally
  • Establish potential opportunities for lobbying through membership organisation and government departments
  • Share intelligence of market and customer trends to establish accurate demand within the sales, product development and engineering teams.
  • Understand business objectives 
  • Any other duties assigned in line with scope of the role
