Cost effective and sustainable upgrade solutions
Eminox rail emissions reduction technology is a tailored retrofit solution which reduces harmful particulate matter (PM) and nitrogen oxides (NOx, NO2) from diesel railcars and on Diesel-Electric trains as part of a bi-mode train conversion. We help achieve environmental sustainability for passengers, employees and the surrounding communities.
This solution can be deployed on class 158/159 diesel multiple units (DMU) with similar innovative solutions developed for class 170 DMUs and enables older in-service vehicles to meet Stage V equivalent emissions standards thereby extending the lifetime of the vehicle and achieve near zero emissions in advance of the electrification of more railways.
