DPF emissions reduction technologies

Eminox emissions reduction technologies for PM reduction are designed with a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) and diesel particulate filter (DPF). This simple and robust passive regeneration system effectively reduces particulate matter (PM), carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbons (HC) by up to 99%, even whilst operating at low temperatures.

The Eminox PM reduction systems are the world’s leading retrofit diesel particulate filter (DPF) and enables vehicles and equipment as old as Euro III to be upgraded to the PM standards of Euro VI equivalent standards. Eminox emissions reduction systems have been installed in more than 100,000 vehicles and equipment in countries including Israel, Hong Kong, Chile, Spain and the United Kingdom over the last 30-years.

They are developed to minimise the overall package space required and ensure emissions compliance is achieved. Our DPF emissions technology optimise exhaust flow distribution under all operating conditions, therefore, minimising the regeneration frequency and reducing the total regeneration time for improved efficiency.

There is also the option to add the Eminox telemetry system to provide real-world, real-time data enabling you to manage, maintain and optimise your fleet therefore giving you the confidence in full compliance to the latest emissions requirements.

Our retrofit solutions are the first to be accredited by the Energy Saving Trust, NRMM Retrofit Accreditation Scheme (RAS) for emission reduction systems, in the UK.

Alternative Fuels

Eminox EMx E6 emissions reduction technology complies with Euro VI and equivalent global emission control specifications for natural gas (CNG & LNG) stoichiometric engines. It is a designed with a three-way catalyst (TWC) to reduce methane hydrocarbons (CH4), nitrogen oxides (NOx, NO2) and carbon monoxide (CO). Our exhaust aftertreatment system for natural gas engines is built into the world’s most popular CNG truck. For lean burn applications an oxidation catalyst and selective catalytic reduction (SCR) solution is available. Biomethane natural gas tractor Stage V.

Aftermarket EMx DPF

The EMx DPF range of Euro VI/6 diesel particulate filters (DPF) has been independently certified and are type approved. They are available through dedicated suppliers across Europe for Volvo, Renault, MAN, Scania, Mercedes, Iveco, and DAF. Fully accredited with UNECE Regulation 49 certification, an EMx DPF can be fitted to heavy-duty vehicles without invalidating the manufacturer’s warranty. Our EMx DPF range are supplied with fully tested fitting kits and are available as new units.

Spark Arrestors

For the most demanding environments with potentially explosive atmospheres, our type approved spark arrestors (solo or with silencers) are available for a wide range of machinery for both Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and retrofit. Spark arrestors, an essential safety and legal requirement when operating in potentially dangerous environments. Therefore, effectively removing incandescent material whilst minimising back pressure and are manufactured from 316 stainless steel to resist corrosion.

Fluid Storage Solutions

Eminox PTE stainless steel AdBlue/urea storage and dispensing tanks are designed and manufactured to ensure full compliance with the environmental and safety requirements of your vehicles and depots. The in-house design, engineering, and manufacture of high quality and durable horizontal, vertical, or containerised tanks include all fabrication and auxiliary items you require and, are easily maintained and serviced. Our team complete the transportation and installation of your tanks, up to 60,000 litres capacity.

Telemetry

Our Control and Diagnostics interface (CADi) integrates with On Board Diagnostics (OBD) to actively manage the exhaust aftertreatment system, optimising and monitoring its performance. Combined with our telematics solution, you can access real world, real time data on your EMxE6 system performance, whenever and wherever you need it. Alerts can also be provided to allow proactive maintenance.
