The Clean Vehicle Retrofit Accreditation Scheme has been launched to provide a national certification scheme for retrofit emissions reduction technology.

Retrofitting with approved technologies such as Eminox SCRT, will allow vehicles to meet strict new requirements from the London Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) and Clean Air Zones (CAZ). The certification scheme was developed jointly by the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership (LowCVP) and the Energy Saving Trust (EST). It will provide independent evidence that retrofit technology will deliver the expected emissions reductions in real world operation. Initially released for buses, the scheme will be expanded to a wide range of vehicles.

With extensive testing already completed, we are expecting official certification for SCRT within weeks.
